The Favourite Five: March

I am here with my March Favourites, overdone I know. But I can't help but love the products I'm going to show you day and just wanted to share. So, here we go...

Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara- £2.50
 1. The first object on my March favorites list is my Rimel Scandaleyes Mascara. This has been a permanent friend of mine since I received it for Christmas two years ago and I've had to buy a new one more than I'd like to say. I feel it really gives my lashes volume and that it's easy to apply, although it does clump quite easily (although that might just be the way I'm applying it).

Left-Right: Frangipani and Citrus, Lavender and Olive Leaf, Lemon Verbena
2. Secondly, I've had these perfume oils for a few years now but only recently rediscovered them at the back of a box in my wardrobe. They come in three gorgeous scents (my favourite is the Lavender) but they don't offer much of a change to your scent, they're more of an add on. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if you can these from anywhere else, but if you can, they're worth buying.

Topshop Nails: Parma Violet- £5
 3. I bought this nail varnish recently on the basis of other bloggers reviews (Check out Zoella's here). They all raved on and I have to admit I was impressed with the colour and quality of the finished nail. My only criticism, I felt that my first layer was very watery, and I had to put on quite a few coats to make the nail look good enough.

Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner Dazzling Shine for Normal Hair- £7.98 (combined total) from Boots
4. My hair had been going through a weird stage recently, all my roots were going very greasy even though nothing in my routine had changed and no matter how recently I had showered. So I changed my shampoo and conditioner, and the problem has completely gone. Not only do I love this shampoo for making my hair so much nicer but I also love its citrus scent.

Clinique 3 Step Introduction set: Type 1- £20
5. Every time I see the price on this I inwardly cringe. Because I notoriously do not stick to skincare routines, or I react really badly to them (Damn sensitive skin) but this one actually works, my skin feels great, I don't have any spots. And yet, at the moment, it is well out of my price range. I guess I have some bribing of the parents to do. But this is amazing, and you can buy trial packs, and do a test online to find out which skin type you are if you are unsure.

I hope you liked some of the products I chose, sorry about the quality it's the first ever post like this I've done.

Charlotte.

How To: Be More Organised

I am the Queen of organizing organisation. I order things and then never get round to doing them, I have timetables and lists galore, none of which I have given a second glance...

Here are my tips for being organised:

  1. Write lists: Be they To-Do lists or photos to Take lists, they really do keep you in order and they're easy to read off of.
  2. Plan ahead: This may sound really simple but planning ahead be it in a little table or just a few scribbles on a piece of paper it really helps, as long as you stick to it. This is where the majority of people fall down.
  3. Put it all on a calendar: Again, it can really help to see all your work together (Basically all my tips really help), and this way you can see when you have really busy days and when you have free ones.
  4. Take it one step at a time: Don't start a load of tasks without finishing them, you'll just get buried under a mountain of unfinished things. It's true. Just take things slowly, do something, finish it, start the next thing.
  5. Allow yourself some free time once in a while: With school, starting a blog and several other projects going on at the moment this is the one I forget to do, or plan into my day. And if I haven't got any free time to look forward to, I tend to get distracted when I'm working. Not a good idea.

My To-Do List.
My Timetable for my blog (planning ahead).

Anyway, I hope this helped, I know it's slightly substandard, and in fact the look of Thursdays may be changing... who knows?

Hope this helped.

Breaking My Nose

It's a strange little blog post today, with no pictures. :( but I thought I'd tell you about my broken nose, how it happened, what's happening, because I think that it is quite an interesting thing that doesn't happen to everyone.

Basically, it was a Wednesday night, nearly dark and I was bringing the horses in on my own. One of them decided to walk in the wrong direction, I went to turn her around, she went for a canter but bucked up first... and caught me in the face.It was both of our faults, we'd gotten too comfortable with the hurt(s) like hell.

Anyway, so I had to make my way back to the house, which is a really long way with a broken nose and had to open about fifty gates along the way (Okay, it was more like five) and then when I got back, mum decided to have tea before taking me to A&E. Typical.

Got to A&E. Nose is probably, most definitely broken. Yay!

But at least I got two days off of school.

They're still not entirely sure what they're going to do about my nose. I have another hospital appointment today, but I'll be sure to notify you if I need an operation.

Anyway...

Charlotte.
